Princess Party
Hear ye, hear ye! Her Royal Highness, the Princess, requests an audience with you at the Royal Ball! A pretty pink princess party is a classic party theme, loved by girls all over the world. Here at Zurchers, we have all the supplies you need to make your party positively perfect!
Dress and Accessories
Every princess needs to dress for beauty and grace. Have guests dress in beautiful dresses and wear tiaras. A fun activity is to have guests design their own paper tiaras upon arriving, using markers, construction paper, and craft gems. Beautiful bows are also great accessories, and girls will love sparkly scepters or wands. Try to color coordinate dresses so everyone looks fabulous and you can get lots of good pictures.
Decorations
Pink is the word when decorating for a princess party! Make a canopy on the ceiling with streamers, try using three colors to avoid candy-striping the pattern. Pair matching balloons with the streamers, along with hanging paper flowers or star cutouts as an accent. Another great idea is to put a princess movie on a TV with the volume muted to add movement and color to the decorations. When decorating the cake, you can make a castle cake by placing upside-down ice cream cones on top of the cake and using icing to make them look like castle towers.
Activities
There are a wide variety of activities that little princesses will enjoy. Painting nails would be a great activity for young girls to personalize their fingers (or toes!) in creative ways. You can play “Pin The Kiss On the Frog” and try to kiss a picture of a frog so he can turn into a prince.
