Details
The flag of Sweden contains a yellow Scandinavian cross extending to the edges of the flag on a blue background. The design is thought to have been inspired by the coat of arms of 1442 which is blue divided into quarters by a gold cross pattee. Blue and yellow have been used as Sweden's colors since King Magnus Birgersson's royal coat of arms of 1275.
