Panama Flag | 3' x 5'

The flag of Panama was officially adopted in 1925 when the country gained its independence from Columbia. The flag consists of 4 rectangles: white and blue on the hoist, red and white on the fly. The white rectangle on the hoist contains a blue 5-pointed star and the white rectangle on the fly contains a red 5-pointed star. The colors represent the rival political parties and the white symbolized the peace in which they operate.
