Invites and Costumes
Roll out the red carpet for your famous guests. Send out your invitations in advance so that your guests can "dress up" as a Hollywood star! Who knows who might arrive at your party! Give prizes to reward your guests creativity.

Your invitations might include a picture of you as your favorite star. Ideas? How about Marilyn Monroe, Arnold Schwarzenegger, John Wayne, or Jack Nickelsen? Find a picture of your chosen celebrity, cut out his or her face, and put your face in its place. You are an instant star!

Decor
You can't have too much of anything at your Hollywood party. Use lots and lots of glitz and lights. String up sparkle star electric lights everywhere. Bright and flashy is the key for this party!

Hang lots of danglers from the ceiling and adhere lots of star cut-outs to the walls. Have a couple of "standups" by the door to greet guests as they arrive.

Games and Activites
For a childrens Hollywood party, have lots of costume lights available and let the children produce and star in their own movie or play (this might also be fun for adults).

If some guests don't want to act, let them try their hands at directing, filming, make-up, or handling props. To get their creativity flowing, have each team pick a fairy tale from a basket that they must "twist" into a new-fangled version. It will be fun to see what they come up with!

If the weather is warm, move the theatre (television or stage) outside, put out blankets and enjoy the shows. Nothing is quite as entertaining as watching yourself and a few friends on the screen!

Party Eats
For movie munchies, have a cooler full of drinks and serve popcorn in popcorn treat bags, just like at the theatre!
