This flag of the Republic of South Africa was first adopted in 1994 to replace the previous flag that was used since 1928. It was adopted to represent the new democracy in the general election in 1994. The flag is designed with a green horizontal "Y" shape; the top and bottom of the "Y" is bordered with narrow, white stripes, topped with a red band at the top, and a blue band at the bottom. At the left of the "Y", there is a black isosceles triangle, bordered by a thin yellow stripe. Show your pride and display this miniature flag on a stick.
