Details
The flag of the Czech Republic contains 2 horizontal bands: white on top, red on bottom, with a blue equilateral triangle at the hoist. The Czech Republic retained the design of the Czechoslovak flag when it separated into the Czech Republic and Slovakia in 1993; Solvakia adopted its own flag. The flag was identical to the flag of Poland so the blue triangle was added to the hoist.
