Décor
Use lots bright balloons and streamers to complement this darling Pooh & Friends pattern. Make sure Pooh and his friends are in attendance by putting their scene setters all over the walls.
Games
Try a Tigger Sack Race. Give each child their own Potato Sack. Line up at the starting line, shout “bounce” and have the children bounce like Tigger to the finish line!
Before the party, fill Ziploc bags with produce (kid-friendly vegetables like baby carrots) from Rabbit’s garden. Hide the bags in Rabbit’s garden and let the children search for them just like they would search for eggs at an Easter hunt.
When they’ve gathered the produce, let them dip the vegetables in yummy dip. Children love to dip and this fills their tummy’s with something good before they eat the cake and ice cream!
Party Favors
Honey is Pooh‘s absolute favorite food so prepare plenty of it ahead of time for each child! (The honey is actually slime that is wonderful to play with but DON‘T EAT IT!)
Honey (slime)
Mix together with a few drops of yellow food coloring:
1 ½ cups warm water
2 cups glue
In a separate bowl mix together:
4 tsp. Borax
1 1/3 cups warm water
Pour the glue mixture into the Borax mixture without stirring. The slime will form on it’s own. When the slime is formed, lift it out of the bowl and let the children play with their “honey.”
When they are done playing, put their “honey” in gold favor pouches with a note that says “Thanks for coming to my party, I had a “hunny” of a time!”
