Create a web of birthday fun with spiderman decorations, games, and prizes!
For fun and simple decorating, twist red, black, and blue streamers down the center of your table. Balloons, the birthday cake, or party favors make great centerpieces!
Scatter toy spiders across the tables. Create a giant web by hanging lots of black crepe paper from the ceiling.
Children love to be spiderman. So when the guests arrive, slap a spiderman emblem on their chests, give them a spiderman mask and voila, they "become" spiderman.
Play spiderman games,including the "Spiderman Walk".
Before guests arrive, cut out as many circles from posterboard as the number of guests you have invited. Put a number and a spider web on each circle. Put corresponding numbers in a bag. Place the "webs" (cardboard circles) randomly on the ground.
When it's time to play, start the music and have the children "spin" from web to web until the music stops. When the music stops, draw a number from the bag. Whomever is standing on the corresponding number gets a prize!
Let the children decorate their own cupcakes. Have red frosting and black shoestring licorice so they can create their own webs. Top with a toy spider.
Don't forget the ice cream!
