SAFARI THEME PARTY IDEA
Decor
Hang different shades of paper from the ceiling for "vines". Add the monkey pinata for a "swingin' effect"! Set out the Safari Tableware and you are ready for your guests.

Games
Give each child their own safari hat then take them on a safari adventure! Before the party, hide several different inflatable animals around the house or yard.

Attach an envelope to each animal with a clue inside for the kids to follow. Read them their first clue. It might read, "I am brown and I love to swing in the trees. Find me!"

When the kids have found the monkey, they read the next clue from the envelope and continue the hunt until all animals are found. Divide the animals up and let them each take one home!

Activities
For a fun art project, let each child dissolve a foam animal shape in water, dip the shape in paint, and then sponge paint on really big paper. Hang the finished project on the wall to admire!

As a finale to a fantastic party, let your guests dig for their own collection of bugs and animals.

Before the party, bury plenty of plastic animals and soft plastic bugs in your sandbox. If you don't have a sand box, dump a big pile of sand on your driveyway. Give the kids their own shovel and let the fun begin!

Party Eats
Serve animal crackers, cake, and lots of ice cream!
