Invitations
After sending out “We’re all in this together”
party invitations. Start preparing. . .
Games and Activities
Before the party, write down dozens of lines
from any of the High School Musical
movies, along with the character that
said it. Write one quote per slip of
paper. Put these papers into a basket.
At the party, guests will pick a quote from the
basket and see if they can get the other
guests to guess which character from the
movie said that quote. When someone guesses correctly,
toss them (and the “actor”) a piece of
candy.
If you
know anyone with dancing abilities, ask
them to teach your guests some fun
moves. For guests that want to cheer for
the dancers, have lots of
pom poms,
noisemaker sticks, and
hand clappers available.
Try filming the dancers and cheerleaders. Watch the film later that
evening, along with any of the High
School Musical movies. Have lots of popcorn available in
popcorn treat sacks.
Party Eats
This easy-to-make “pennant cake“ will be a
definite hit!
Bake a
9”x13” sheet cake. When the cake is cooled, cut
the edges to make a flag pennant shape. Frost the cake with red icing and
use white icing to write Go Wildcats! Or
EHS on the cake.
Serve the
cake along with cafeteria favorites such
as pizza and chocolate milk in cartons.
