Decor
CUTE is the key to this party's decorations. Use lots of green, pink, and white balloons and paper streamers! Have party purses or treat bags ready for each guest to fill with prizes during the party.
Top the birthday cake with a Hello Kitty Candle and display it, along with matching plates and cups that have Hello Kitty parasol straws peeking out the top. Scatter confetti or small candies across the table.
Games and Activites
While waiting for the arrival of all the children, allow each guest to sign their name or write a note on the Hello Kitty autograph pillow.
Before the party, hide Hello Kitty necklaces and bracelets. Tell the children that Hello Kitty is sad because she lost her jewelry but they can help her feel better by finding her jewelry for her!
Have them each find one bracelet and one necklace that they can either wear or put in their prize purses or bags.
Let the children play Hello Kitty bingo a few different times so they can win lots of carnival novelty toys to put in their purses!
Recruit an artistic teenager to decorate a refrigerator box into a Hello Kitty home. Have the teenager cut out windows and a door. He or she can draw Hellp Kitty and her friends, flowers and pots, window shutters, or simply the colords pink, white, and green.
The children will love playing in the house when the party is winding down. What a fabulous ending to a terrific party! |
