Costumes
Instruct the children to wear black
shirts. Or, have black t-shirts at the
party for each of them. These can be
purchased inexpensively from your local
dollar store or Big Lots.
When the guests arrive, let each
child put a Batman t-shirt emblem
on their own shirt, wear a
black mask,
and they are ready for the fun to begin!
Décor
Decorate with bunches of
black
balloons and lots and lots of
black crepe paper streamers.
For a fun and simple centerpiece,
scatter batman comic books on the center
of the table. Set action figures on top
of the books and tie balloons to
the action figures.
Games and Activities
The kids favorite thing will be
performing heroic deeds like batman.
Explain that it is up to them to
“vanquish the villains” but first. . .
they must be trained at the Batman
Training Academy.
Let the kids “train” to their hearts
content on an obstacle course that
includes somersaulting, throwing a
Frisbee, scrambling through tunnels,
climbing a ladder, lifting weights,
racing with wheelbarrows and more! For
even more fun, time them with a stop
watch.
Once they are appropriately trained,
get out a big tub of pre-filled
water
balloons. Mount pictures of Gothum’s
villains to a tree and let the children
destroy them with water balloons. Or,
attack them with
water guns.
Read to them from an original Batman
comic to show them how Batman got
started! Dccomics.com is a great source
for comics.
